CRUSADER III” is a purpose built 65' Conquest fibreglass vessel designed and built specifically to provide a comfortable, safe and stable environment while on charter.

She is able to accommodate up to 20 Day Fishing, 50 on a pleasure cruise or up to
12 guests, overnight.

As a super keen yachtsman since his early teens and a sailmaker by trade, David has accumulated a wealth of experience built on thousands of hours at sea and literally tens of thousands of sea miles under his belt. A diverse range of experiences including Atlantic crossings, charter seasons in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, racing in the Sydney to Hobart race, followed by establishing and running his own business, has built a solid foundation upon which to create and manage a growing fishing charter business. Always a keen fisherman, he considers it a thrill and privilege to expose enthusiastic fisherman to the unique fishing available in the pristine waters off Eyre Peninsula and the West coast.

Holding a Master 5 Skippers ticket, as a crew member aboard CRUSADER III, his role is to ensure the guest’s needs are met and the deck runs smoothly.
He is a very good communicator and focuses on the clients needs and continually works to make your charter fun, safe and unforgettable.

Whether you’re an experienced Fisherperson or not a FULL DAY LOCAL CHARTER over 8 hours is just the right Charter to satisfy an urgent need to ‘wet a line’ or to simply get a taste of the biggest sport in Australia.

Our vessel “Crusader lll" a 65 ft. Conquest design will carry up to 20 passengers in comfort and safety without compromising the quality of your fishing experience.

Departing from Marina Cove Port Lincoln we will fish many well-known fishing spots along the coastline as well as several not so well known. The most targeted species are Snapper and our famous S.A. King George Whiting although many other species are also available which provide great fishing sport and are excellent table fare.

The first of our OVERNIGHT CHARTERS is a 2-DAY/1-NIGHT live aboard charter for up to 12 people, which will depart from Port Lincoln, and will fish around Wedge Island and the Thorny Passage islands. Overnight may be spent Wedge Island or Memory Cove. We return to Marina Cove after a second full day of fishing in the evening of the second day.

The second of our OVERNIGHT CHARTERS is a 3-DAY live aboard charter for up to 12 people

Departing from either Pt Lincoln or Coffin Bay we can fish Wedge Island, Greenly and Rocky Islands or the Pearson and Flinders Islands. On these trips we target Tuna, Snapper, Nannygai, Yellowtail Kingfish, Samson fish, Blue Morwong, GIANT King George Whiting and Big Silver Trevally. All are dynamic sport fish and great eating.These locations offer unexploited fishing potential in locations that are rarely accessed by other vessels.

We depart from Pt Lincoln/Coffin Bay very early first morning and will be fishing by mid morning. The next three days will be spent surface and bottom fishing offshore locations and anchoring up in protected bays which offer spectacular scenery and exciting night fishing.

“CRUSADER III” is the perfect fishing platform for live aboard fishing with quality BIG FISH Tackle (fishermen are always welcome to bring their own equipment of course) and plenty of deck space to use it.

All meals and drinks (except spirits) are included. Just bring along your clothing and any personal items needed as we also supply all bedding, linen and towels."

For those who are serious about getting connected with MONSTER Yellowtail Kingfish, GIANT Samson Fish and REEL SCREAMING Southern Bluefin Tuna this charter will provide unforgettable fishing action.

These trips will depart from Pt. Lincoln or Coffin Bay to enable us to fish Greenly and Rocky Islands, the Whidbey Islands, The Cabbage Patch , Pearson and Flinders Islands.

Over 5 days we will surface and bottom fish and usually anchor overnight at Greenly Island or Pearson Island unless weather permits overnight fishing on the ocean. An expert Fishing Guide will assist our clients to hook into MONSTER Kingfish and Samson Fish that HURT YOU as well as LINE STRIPPING Southern Bluefin Tuna, Blue Groper, Sharks and many other deep-water species!

“CRUSADER III” is the perfect fishing platform for live aboard fishing with quality BIG FISH Tackle (fishermen are always welcome to bring their own equipment of course) and plenty of deck space to use it.

All meals and drinks (excluding Spirits) are supplied along with all bedding, linen and towels.

We plan 8-10 of these charters early February through to early June, as this is the period of most stable and predictable weather conditions. Interest is high as charters are booked out quickly, so get your crew together now!"
