Skipper a Clipper

Skipper a Clipper Sailing School offers fully accredited AYF Inshore and Offshore sailing courses in a safe and fun environment. Learn the art of sailing on the beautiful Pittwater and Hawkesbury River.

An approved boat licence course is a structured, comprehensive training course which must combine practical training in a surveyed boat as well as training in a classroom environment; provided by a registered training organisation and using an accredited commercial marine instructor. By it's nature it will take more time, and cost more than a theory test. It will have undergone stringent quality controls, and have been reviewed extensively by the relevant state government marine authority to ensure it meets their high standards.

A NSW Waterways general Boat Drivers Licence is obtained by completing the boat licence course. Students will practice driving in our vessel on the water, and become familiar with low and high speed maneuvering, general boat handling, man overboard drills, and docking and mooring. Our instructors are highly motivated and experianced skippers working in the marine industry on a daily basis. Learn from their years of experience. Join us for a day and learn through their experiences.
