Being 8mts long and 2.5mts wide the fishing boat offers more than enough space for your comfort. We even have a toilet on board!

Jim has extensive knowledge of the local area. He has worked on game boats fishing for Marlin, bottom fishing the reef for Coral Trout but his passion is Estuary Fishing chasing Barras, Fingermark, Jacks and the abundance of other species that inhabit inshore tidal waters.

The Inlet is home to a great diversity of species including the famous Barramundi, Mangrove jack and Trevally, Salmon, Grunter, Jew Fish, Fingermark and Gold Spot Cod to name just a few. In all, around 50 species of fish reside in this expansive system.

All trips begin with the collection of live bait with a cast net. This in itself is an experience for those who have not seen it done before.

We cater for all levels of experience and all bait and tackle is supplied. Our experienced guides will show the novice angler the right technique to catch the best fish.


Apart from the fishing, the area offers an abundance of other wildlife to look out for. There are around 20 species of bird that include birds of Prey such as the Osprey, Brahminy Kite and the magnificent White Bellied Sea Eagle.
