| Lake Strzelecki is a large man-made lake with a surface area of approximately 4 acres. Located in the foothills of the Strzelecki Ranges the lake is surrounded by Mountain Ash and Blackwood trees, leaving you with the impression that you are miles from civilisation rather than the quick drive it is from the Yarragon Tourist Village. Lake Strzelecki is a privately managed fishery, set aside exclusively for fly fishermen. Lake Strzelecki is a catch and release fishery only. The lake is stocked with Rainbow, Brown Trout, Bass and Silver Perch. •Booking is preferred as numbers are strictly limited. •Rates include use of boats and BBQ facilities. •Bait fishing strictly prohibited. •No Berleying. •Fish are to be released as quickly and gently as possible. •No lighting fires. •Children must be supervised at all times. |
