The traditional slip ensures Careel Boat Services can offer a full and extensive range of boat maintenance and support services. The slipways portfolio consists of large and small vessels. Sydney Harbour based boats now constitute a very significant proportion of our maintenance portfolio. - HULL DETAIL AND ANTIFOULING Careel Bay Marina takes pride our fast, efficient and cost competitive “slip / clean / anti-foul” services. All vessels are jet blasted and wet rubbed, while all anti-foul is applied with an “Airless Spray Gun”. Our Team takes great pride in the final finish of the hull which results in a quality job for all our customers. Full anti-foul strip-off’s are also carried out by the Slipway Team. Once again all epoxy primers and other paint coatings are applied by airless spray. - BOAT CLEANING PROFESSIONALS “specialising in varnish work and complete re-spray's” “Smiley” Cannon is on-site to provide the very best in painting works. The Cannon’s resume for timber and glass paint jobs is extensive. There is no job to big or small for our Team. Smiley is extremely well known for his delicate brush work, thus providing him with one of the very best names in the industry for varnish work. The spraying of Topsides and Superstructures on all styles of vessels is their specialty. Careel Bay’s facilities allow the Team to “make-over” any style and size of vessel. Our large Team of six (6) professionals ensures that their experiences overlap providing customers with guaranteed quality. Darren’s Team provides support for the Riviera Group by carrying out regular boat maintenance services, teak decks and any modifications. Our Teams fine timber work is amongst the best, with Teak Decks proving to be the most popular service. However, Darren is sought for unique jobs that require skilful solutions and committed tradesman. Glass work and other services such as Bow Thruster installations are also carried out professionally and competitively. - ON-SITE MARINE MECHANICS AND ENGINEERING Careel Bay has identified that today’s boat and its Owner requires specialized services. Our Team of four (4) marine mechanics is made up of the following; Petrol Mechanic - Two (2) qualified marine mechanics focusing on Outboard Motors, Stern Drive Units and Inboard Petrol Motors Diesel Mechanics / Engineering - Our two (2) diesel marine mechanics share the load. Mark Masters focuses on the smaller diesel motors while Wally King tackles the large diesel engines. Over 50 years of combined experience makes all jobs achievable.
