The Essentials At Sydney BoatShare, we offer genuine boat ownership, not time credit membership. Our owners share initial purchase costs and on-going operating costs, and receive their share of net sale proceeds back when the vessel is sold. Buying a Share* Sydney BoatShare offers 10 and 20% shares across the fleet A 10% share gives owners access to their vessel 33 days each year Owners also have unlimited stand-by days, available when the boat is not in use† Boat syndicates comprise a maximum of 10 owners and usually operate for up to three years Sydney BoatShare can provide flexible in-house finance to approved applicants with up-front cash required as low as only $30,000 on some shares; please contact us for more information†† A 10% share in our most luxurious vessel syndicate, the Princess P54 Flybridge, are equivalent to approximately $65,000** per annum over a three-year term Shares in the popular Riviera M400 Sports Cruiser syndicate are equivalent to approximately $25,000** per annum over a three year term. Management & Maintenance At Sydney BoatShare, we employ a full-time Client Concierge to respond to your needs and enquiries, and our Walk-On, Walk-Off service removes the day-to-day maintenance requirements of full boat ownership. Our Annual Walk-on, Walk-off Service Fee includes: Budgeted Maintenance, Berthing & Insurance + Professional Boat Management Internal and External Cleaning Online and Phone Booking Service Boat Parking Service Access to your Boat Bookings are made on a trimester schedule Our Client Concierge manages a fully-coordinated ballot system to ensure weekends and holidays are shared appropriately amongst owners Owners have access to our secure online service, allowing them to make bookings and swap dates before, and during, each trimester. Driving Your Boat Sydney BoatShare provides Boat Induction and Driving Basics Tuition, to ensure you get the most from your boating experience Owners can nominate three other drivers for Induction Training, who are then qualified to drive the boat, whether the owner is on-board or not (please note that all drivers must possess a valid NSW Maritime Boat Driver’s License) Our Boat Parking Service is available at your home marina Sydney BoatShare has a team of five professional skippers, providing ongoing training and skippering services for an additional fee. |
