Quality and service are assured as we are a small, but professional, business who know what the discerning angler needs to pull in that big one!

All Meridian designs are developed by Ian, and thorough field testing of all products is carried out for at least 12 months prior to any new lure being put into production – so you can be assured that Meridian lures perform just the way they are intended.

The end result of our product research and development program is that anglers will be purchasing the highest quality, Australian made lure on the market today.

Please take a moment to have a look through our brochure, and feel free to contact us for more information if required. Arrangements can be made for a representative to call and show you the range.
The Demons are straight running lures that have a wide range of running speed from 6 to 14 knots.
The aero dynamic head shape, combined with the cone shaped nose profile, gives the Demons an enticing action that no predatory fish can resist,

Through the tracking cycle the lure surfaces and accumulates its air supply and then dives, the air gradually dissipates in a long consistent smoke trail and near the end of the cycle the head actively shakes, before the lure returns to the surface to begin the cycle over again.

The Demon series are the perfect easy to use, straight running lure suitable for any condition, no matter whether you are chasing Tuna, Billfish or a range of other species.

Demons come in five sizes with the largest being the #1 and the smallest the #5.
The Quasi series has performance characteristics unknown in other lure designs.

The that stout head design incorporates an oversized 10 degree sliced face that produces a huge bubble trail over a range of speeds from 5 - 9 knots.
This extremely dynamic lure is best suited to the short corner position in the pattern but also performs well when fished from the outriggers.

There are six sizes available in the Quasi series. The largest in the range is the gigantic XOS Quasi, ideal for targeting the biggest of fish on tackle built for the task, down to the Quasi #5, a lure that performs amazingly well on small marlin and sailfish.

No matter what size billfish you are targeting there is a Quasi is perfectly suited to the task at hand.
The Ahi Series is a real billfish specialist that incorporates a 10 degree face angle and enlarged front section that reduces in size toward the rear half of the head.

These features produce an exceptional outrigger or long corner lure, with excellent all round performance over a range of speeds from 5 - 9 knots.
Two sizes make up the Ahi series both with exceptional fish raising characteristics. Although the Ahi series is used primarily for targeting billfish in the medium to large size range some exceptional tuna captures have also been recording with the Ahi.

At just on 100 mm in length the Super Jerk is the smallest lure in the Meridian Tackle range, but has accounted for a staggering range of pelagic species since its release.

It is a weighted straight runner that will easily handle the roughest of conditions and trolling speeds up to 20 knots.

The Salt Shaker series consists of a range of four straight running, weighted jets of a very unique design.

The head encompasses a huge dished face with a series of jet holes through the head, eating to the outside of the skirts.
A reduced section immediately behind the face of the lure causes a pressure differential to be formed along the head, which in turn creates a huge bubble envelope that encapsulate the whole lure and then disperses into an extremely long smoke trail. The Salt Shaker will handle any water conditions and has a wide range of operational speeds that makes it the ideal lure for covering a large area at either normal or high speed.
With a speed range from 6 - 16 knots, your options are as broad as your imagination.

The commonly held fallacy, that jets are for tuna only, could not be further from the truth, with Salt Shakers accounting for five of the sox billfish species available in Australian Waters in the first twelve months after its release.
The Exocet is a strikingly different lure both in shape and how it performs when trolled.

This range was specifically designed for targeting tuna species, with its long head shape and short skirts, and they should be loaded with a single hook only.

The Exocet runs on or just under the surface of the water, as fleeing bait fish might do while being pursued by a predator.
The Exocet is best suited to the long corner, riggers, or when used as a shotgun lure can turn a dead day into a day to remember.

With a speed range from 7 - 16 an effective high speed pattern can be used to cover large distances while searching for productive waters.
The Exocets can be used to great effect while drifting and live batting or cubing for Tuna, simply allow an unweighted Exocetto sink to a suitable depth before setting the line in the rigger, then allow the motion of the boat to do the rest.

Try it, the results may surprise. Two sizes are available in the Exocet series to increase your chances of success.
The Dart is an incredibly versatile style of lure, allowing the angler to troll in virtually any water conditions from smooth to rough with little or no effect on the lure. Given that the Dart can cope with a huge speed range from 6 - 18+ knots the possibilities are limited only to your imagination. The Dart lure style has arguably accounted for more giant tuna captures than any other lure style.

If big is what you are looking for in a lure, we have the solution.
Our XOSQuasi & XOS Spectre are among the largest lures available any where. From Cairns to Kona, grander marlin are the primary target species for anglers pursuing the ultimate angling challenge.

Whether used as a teaser while switch baiting or as fully loaded lures these two giants will raise fish like no other.
