3 generations and over 60 years strong, Lifestyle Marine (formerly Hirecraft Marine) have the history to back up their business, and the vision to see it through with you.

Family owned and operated, Lifestyle Marine have been servicing Lake Macquarie boaters since the 1940's. The first generation and pioneer of Hirecraft Marine, Linley Hurt began his business as a hire operator of small launches. A Catalina Flying Boat pilot in WW2, Linley settled in Lake Macquarie and fostered today's leading power boat retailer, Lifestyle Marine.

Lin's son, Geoff Hurt, is the company's current principal and with sons Damien and Simon leading the Sales Team and the Accessory Chandlery respectively, the Hirecraft Marine vision lives on. Lifestyle Marine's team is stronger then ever with twenty specialised people coming together to make buying your dream boat an absolute pleasure.

What this means for you is a boating partner, a truly family owned and operated Australian business. And with that much riding on it, how could Lifestyle Marine go wrong?

You and your boating investment will be well cared for by the Lifestyle Marine service team, with 9 staff in the service and pre-delivery department. Service headquarters is at West Toronto in a 550 square metre facility that ensures when your trailer boat is in our care, it is kept secure and out of the weather. Large boat servicing is catered for at our on water marina and showroom at Toronto, Lake Macquarie. It has slipways, marina berths and swing moorings.

The service team is headed by Nicolas Zufic, Service Manager, who has been a part of the team for 10 years. Nic is a fully qualified marine mechanic and like all of the service team, attends Mercury training schools 2 to 3 times a year, staying up to date with all the latest technology, training and customer service ideas. Nic is aided by Paula Jones, Lifestyle Marine's service and spare parts co-ordinator. Paula has been part of the team for 30 years, she is involved in the booking and scheduling of service work as well as spare parts ordering, processing and sales.

Travis Sullivan heads our pre-delivery department, specialising in the Sea Ray product. Travis has been passionate about boats his whole life, having been brought up around boats with his father who has owned some 14 or 15 boats. Travis is a fully qualified mechanic, and joined us from the automotive industry where he was a service co-ordinator in a large Holden dealership. Travis' job is highly multi-faceted, with modern boats having air conditioners, generators, petrol and diesel engines, televisions and DVD players just to name a few. If you would like us to look after your existing boat or you are considering purchasing a boat through Lifestyle Marine, our service team will be only to pleased to look after you and your boat.


Slipping

At Lifestyle Marine, we always aim to provide the best possible service to you our customers, in everything we do. When it comes to slipping your boat for anti-fouling and detailing, it is no different. We use only high quality materials and have them applied by trained personnel.

We will contact you when the job is completed to arrange for you to inspect the boat and then pay for the job in full, before the boat goes back into the water. It is in your best interest to inspect your boat as there will be no recourse after the event.

If there was a situation where you were not satisfied with the completed work we would ask that you contact us straight away so a solution can be found as quickly as possible. You our customers are the most important thing to us, this process is to guarantee good communication and a harmonious relationship.
