| Established in 2002, Maps Downunder is a retailer of a variety of maps, books, travel guides, recreational guides, Australian publications as well as complimentary products such as navigational instruments and communication devices. Sharon Rich, the proprieter, and Andrew Rich co-founded and operate Maps Downunder from their office in Hoppers Crossing, Melbourne. It is from this premises that phase 1 of the business was developed, an e-commerce website, which allowed them to establish commercial relationships, customer goodwill and ascertain the viability of a specialised map shop in the Werribee region of Western Melbourne. The mission of Maps Downunder is to become the premier retailer of travel related publications in Australia.
